Remake of a classic 1930s design. 25.4mm clamp
Soma have a bit of a thing for resurrecting obscure designs. The originals were hand made in the 1930s by English racing cyclist, Olympian and engineer Jack Lauterwasser. Soma have updated it fit more modern 25.4mm stems and MTB controls and grips.  

Don't be misled by the long reach. The grip area is pretty long too and brings the hand postion back to something similar to a Nitto B307 (although the drop is a bit deeper). Back in JL's day they mostly seem to have been fitted to tall stems with a very short extension, but whatever works for you).
