Perineum friendly lightweight road saddle
Super light cutout saddle from San Marco's well regarded Aspide family. 

The hull is nylon reinforced with carbon fibres, topped with a layer of biofoam cushioning and covered with an abrasion resistant microfeel coating. The rails are made of something called Xsilite which acording to San Marco is a high silcon material combined with particles of titanium and carbon. The cutout runs almost the full length of the saddle and is supposed to improve blood flow. prevent numbness and provide relief from pressure on the perineum. It's recommended for individuals with "averagely high pelvic rotation". The curved 'Wave' side profile of the seating surface is recommended for individuals with both flat back (retroverted pelvis) and accentuated lumbar arch (anteverted pelvis). So there you are.

How much credence you give to this sort of technical detail is up to you. All we can say is that as lightweight (and it is really light) road saddles go, we've found these to be really comfortable.
