Pake (say "Paa-kay", like "cafe") was founded in 2005 with a single frame designed "to offer the masses a bargain way to build their first fixed gear ride". Their product range has expanded and varied a little over the years, even featuring gears at times. They've always veered back to their fixed routes though and their frames are especially popular with alley cat racers and bike polo players in their native US
