These are extra long alloy stays to support your Nitto luggage carrying solution. Many front or rear carriers only come with short struts to meet the middle of your fork legs or seat stays, these provide sufficient length to reach the threading that you might have on your axle drop-outs. Being Nitto, the end is nicely rounded off for safety and they are dead straight and a reasonable diameter which reduces the likelihood of buckling under load.
