In spite of improvements in clincher tyres and tubeless technology 'tubs' are still favoured by many track riders, time trialists and crit racers. The TB25 is a great all round rim; stiff, light and with a deep enough profile to give some aero benefit. They're not eyeletted and have a machined sidewall if you need to use brakes. 

As ever with Kinlin rims it's the metallurgy which sets them apart. In this case the KLM41 'super alloy' which contains small amounts of manganese and niobium and has a tensile strength twice that of conventional alloys. They're also given T10 tempering, the most comprehensive of the internationally recognised heat treatment proceses.
