The NJS homologation process famously gives the stamp of approval only to the very best, and the Izumi "Super V" is probably the best known of the compliant chains. Not only is it made from chaintool-bendingly hard metals but it also has a distinctive black and gold appearance. For true authenticity you should run it with the included halflink, but make sure to take precautions (threadlock) to stop the link unscrewing in use.
