Brrr! Take me back to the present
March 4 2005
Back again. Sorry for blipping out during February, everyone: there was a lot going on, not least the release of the new 63xc.com. I'm now back on an even keel, and the Blog can begin to address our backlog of interesting bicycle photos. Big news is that the 120mm Kogswells are here, and that the first few have gone out to the faithful, to very positive responses. To celebrate, we're now selling the hubs singly as well as in sets.

The arrival of the 120mm Kogswells creates a small dilemma--possibly to your advantage. If you're considering track hubs, read on.
The Kogswells went on order way back last year, but took a very long time to get here. To pacify my waiting list, I bought over a small shipment of Suzue 120s (ProMax SBs--the mid-range flip-flop set with the holo stickers). The ones that went out seem to have done OK, but I decided not to make them a stock line because I wanted something beefier for Hubjub's primarily courier/commuter readership. I still have a couple of sets in, so drop Hubjub a line if you fancy a lightweight hubset.

Here's the first of those interesting bicycles, pty of Olaf Wiig. Note elegant pursuit-style setup based on Nitto B-123AA bars. When Olaf told me that the bike is called 'Stormbringer' I assumed a Michael Moorcock reference, old hippy that I am. It turns out that the bike is so called because the rain starts as soon as Olaf takes her out.

Below is Gordon's very fine Coppi fix, now powered by a Hubjub-sourced 130mm ENO. Gordon says that the bike is still reminding him not to try freewheeling, but he's getting to grips with it. This is a good opportunity to tell you about White's price drop. Our new stock of ENOs is 20.00 cheaper than the last batch, as the parent company pursues the falling dollar. Congratulations to them for being so switched on.
