Paul Nathan bought yet another set of MKS chaintugs earlier this year. He says: "I haven't fitted them yet as my fixed is primarily used autumn to spring. Here's a pic for your Blog of me picking it up at Brixton Cycles - it's a Surly Steamroller - luvverly!" We're pleased to show a happy fixer.

News from Scott at LeVeL Components, perhaps our favourite startup of 2004. Scott has the green light on the reworked LeVeL rear hub with its bolt-on sprocket. We're going to be the first UK stockist. The order's in. (Alex at Reece is on the case too.) Watch this space.

Bit short on photos recently, so I'm cheating. This shot is from Laurence, a long-time supporter. He wrote to tell me about the progress of the Brooks B-17 I sent him a year or two back--BH (Before Hubjub) anyway. Apparently the many bikes the B-17 has traversed include this remarkable converted Raleigh Twenty.

Other 20s here and here. Birth of a trend? Time to clear out the shed?

Joakim, who bought some sprockets and the year's umpteenth set of chaintugs, sends along photos. I've decided that component closeups are boring, so here's Joakim's KHS fix. Dig that Brooks saddle.
