Bloggin', we're bloggin'... Bit of a layoff there occasioned by my residual involvement in Stuff Not Involving Bicycles. I always worry about these Blogless longueurs: perhaps you, dear reader, will assume that the business is on hold. Nothing could be further from the truth. I've put up these four days' worth of entries in one long string to give some sense of how much is happening. If memory serves, today was the day that the new EAI shipment arrived, bringing much-needed Nitto bars and a pretext to stay up all night listening to the World Service churning out backorders. Sleep patterns still abnormal. Here is Rupert Scott's excellent bicycle: note the Hubjub-sourced LeVeL hubs in 120mm mode. (Damned handsome, I must say.) Rupert lives within hailing distance of Castle Hubjub: I look forward to a shout of 'Yo! Fixie!' one of these evenings...

These days it's my reading which gives the days their distinctive quality and the present flava is Don Lancaster. Lancaster wrote an amazing book called 'The Incredible Secret Money Machine', a manual for the small-scale craft or tech entrepreneur which I reread about five times while starting Hubjub. (I recommend it highly, but that goes without saying.) Since my copy was published in '78, I assumed Lancaster had long since retired. Instead, he's up and doing on the Web, and I've been combing Tinaja.com for new ideas. Hot tuna! Bike of the day is from Jérôme, who rides one of the delightful products of Fixie, Inc. He somehow resisted buying one of the company's notorious Carscratcher bars and went instead for a Hubjub-sourced Nitto bullhorn. Cheers, Jérôme.

Nothing much from me today so I'll run this amazing letter and photos from Claus in Denmark. Claus sez: "I have mounted the track-ends which you sent me. I have attached a little document where you can see what is going on in the pics." Since I can only show you a couple of the shots, I'd better tell you that Claus somehow figured out how to prep his Tecnociclo track ends, jig them, braze them, check truing and take 14 decent photos, all in one hour flat. Looks like a pretty good build, too. Should you wish to imitate Mr. Carstensen's feat, you can find track ends at the bottom of the 'Tools Etc' page.

Next order in is the long-awaited ENO shipment. The hubs turned up earlier than expected, so I had to buy them on a personal credit card--but we have decent stock again, folks. The bike, from Michael Bakker in the Netherlands, features a couple of Hubjub-sourced parts. The best is those yummy Nitto B-123AA bars. But it's the script Campag logo on the top tube that really does it for me.
